Lomonosov (1980-1985), speciality - zoology, botany (course work: "Zooarchaeology of Scythian horses of Kirkinitida (Eupatoria) and Chersonese Taurian (Sevastopol')", Thesis: "Functional Morphology of the Oligocene swamp rhinos of Mongolia”; scientific leaders - S.P. Maslov, J. F. Dzerzhinsky, V.Yu. Reshetov, P.P. Gambaryan), the Geological and Prospecting Faculty of the Kazakh National Technical University named after K. Satpayev (1984-1990), speciality - geology, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits (student projects: "Reconstruction of the Oligocene and Miocene biogeooriktocenoses of  the Zaisan Basin, Eastern Kazakhstan: Paleontology and stratigraphy; scientific leaders - M.A. Zhukov, A. Yarmak, V. Malinovskaya, I. Radchenko, Shegay), graduated of the Institute of paleobiology of the Georgian Academy of Sciences (1990-1991; host professor - academician of the Academy of Sciences of Georgia - Prof. Dr. L.K. Gabunia). Theme of Ph.D. thesis: "The fossil turtles of Kazakhstan" (Ph.D. - 30.12.1991, Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of Georgia; approval of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Moscow, 8.05.1992). Since 1985 - work in the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. Director and supervisor (Principal Investigator) of the joint Kazakhstan-French palaeontological expedition (1995) together with Prof. Dr. L. de Bonis and M. Brunet (Université de Poitiers, France); director and scientific director of the joint Kazakhstan-American paleontological expedition (1995) together with Dr. Gregg Gunnel (University of Michigan, USA), Dr. P.D. Polly (University of London, Qüen Mary and Westfield College, the UK); director and scientific director of the joint Kazakhstan-German-(Dutch) paleontological expedition (1999) together with Dr. E.P.J. Heizmann (Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde, Stuttgart, B-W, Germany) and H. de Bruijn (Utrecht University, the Niederlands); director and scientific director of the joint Kazakhstan-Chinese paleontological expedition (1999) together with Prof. Dr. Zheng, Dr. W. Wu (Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Beijing, China). Subject of scientific investigations: discovery and study of numerous Cretaceous, Paleogene and Neogene faunas of vertebrates in Southern, South-Eastern and Western Kazakhstan, their systematics, biodiversity, biostratigraphy, palaeoecology and palaeogeography. Subject of the Postdoctoral dissertation: "Ways and regularities of evolution of Testudinata" (approval diploma from the Alexander of Humboldt Foundation, Bonn, 28.02.2001). palaeoreconstruction. Subject of currect research: Bosphoran Kingdom (IV-III century. BC) and Early Byzantine Kingdom: numismatics, archaeological, historical chronicles: the history of cities, wars, raids, are confined to the space and natural phenomena, the development and spread of Greek (Hellenic) & old Slavic alphabet and literature). Scholarship-winner of DAAD (1998): Stuttgart University, Institut für Geologie u. Palaeontologie, Host Professor - Prof. Dr. R. Leinfelder; Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde, Stuttgart, Dr. E.P.J. Heizmann. Seven-time scholarship-winner of the International scientific Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (scholarships in Germany: 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2003, four European International research scholarships of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation: work in Poland, France, Switzerland and in the UK): Tübingen University, Institut für Geologie u. Palaeontologie; Host Professor - Prof. Dr. W.-E. Reif. Scholarship-winner of the International research Volkswagen Foundation (2001-2004): Stuttgart University, Institut für Geologie u. Palaeontologie, Host Professor - Prof. Dr. H. Seyfried; Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde, Stuttgart, Dr. E.P.J. Heizmann. The author of more than 12 scientific monographs on palaeontology and stratigraphy of the Cretaceous, Palaeogene and Neogene of Kazakhstan (written in English); the author of poems "The Nature of Things", "Fyodor Ushakov", "Mikhail Skobelev", "The forces leading to Trebizond", "The Kingdom of Bosporus: Gorgippia, Phanagoria", "Golden Princess", "Pergamon and Bergama", "Rhodes", "Talents and Admirers" as well as author of verses, fables, romances, songs, librettos, translations, etc.
